The Israeli made Babysense apnoea monitor used by us works with great accuracy. Its use doesn’t present any difficulty even for the not-learned parent and it does not harm the infant in any way. The quality of life of the parents using the monitor has also improved during the period of monitoring. We regard the home use of Babysense as a part of SIDS prevention. This method helped to prevent potential danger of deaths.
We use the monitors not only for risk patients with positive anamnesis in our hospital against SIDS however the monitors contribute markedly in monitoring apnoea pauses at home use. Thanks to the monitoring we were repeatedly alarmed and the child was saved and brought to the hospital on time.”

I believe that it is possible that usage of Babysense in the general population contributes to the reduction of SIDS in recent years. Many families reported to our clinic due to Babysense alarm, which led to their diagnosis with sleep apnea and/or immaturity of respiratory center, and thus high risk for SIDS.
On two occasions, the movement monitors went off. We rushed into her room to find her sound asleep holding her breath. When we moved her, she let out a huge gasp and went back to sleep. We’ll never know if she would have done that on her own, and I’m glad we won’t have to; these sensors are worth their weight in gold.
I have been able to rest more peacefully since we have gotten this monitor. I would highly recommend this product for those other high strung moms that are not sleeping for fear of SIDS. We have not experienced any false alarms.
Absolutely one of the best purchases we have made as new parents. This sensor has allowed ME to relax and get quality sleep, knowing that if something were to happen in the middle of the night, I would be alerted to any problem. We have never had any issues with false alarms or the sensor not working.
